Dark skies at Albury Heath under threat

For the next few months we'll be carrying the latest news of the Star Energy Group's planning application to floodlight the exploratory drilling rig near to our dark-sky site at Albury Heath. Our members have submitted a number of objections as this application (if is accepted) is likely to result in a huge increase in light pollution for the next four years. There is also a longer term impact if Star Energy subsequently decide to build gas extraction facilities on the same site.
