Professor Nigel Mason is the Professor of Molecular Physics in the School of Physical Science, The Open University. He graduated from UCL in 1983 & obtained a PhD in atomic physics in 1987. He joined the Open University in 2002. Professor Mason was awarded an OBE in 2007 for services to science.
