08 MAY TONIGHT AT ALBURY HEATH

Update to John's earlier message:

The forecasts have improved and it looks ON for tonight.

The met sites still don't agree with each other. Met Office, BBC, Metcheck all now show mostly clear skies. Netweather predicts cloud. Meteosat images show the division of cloud/clear right over us! - if the W wind wins we'll be ok.

The Moon will be a 5 day crescent so even if OK so it swamps some nearby stars it's good to look at the Moon every now and again.

We'll update again early evening.
